What a treat to walk with the dogs!
As you know these dog stocks are found by sorting any group of dividend payers by yield. This dividend dog catcher defines groups as they happen: indexes, sectors, industries, markets, business types, capitalizations, portfolios, etc. Groups have been as few as fifteen stocks and as many as thousands.
I’m looking forward to sharing my zeal for the boisterous, hyperactive, yet docile world of dividend dog stocks.
Boisterous in that some of these rascals offer as high as 20% (dividend/price) yield.
Hyperactive in that certain sector dogs like basic materials, technology, and financials, recently became very volatile with prices soaring one week only to be crashing the next. Such boisterousness can get amplified by stock issues climbing on or falling off the top ten charts ranked by yield.
Docile means that, despite some commotion, these groupings of pups are pretty tame, safe and user friendly investment grade pets to buy and hold for at least a year.
These are my promises for forthcoming content :
Thoroughly-researched, well-defined stock ideas, including at least one dividend dog of the week.
Rating, ranking, and recommending dogs by yield, upside, gains, and more.
Market-maker interviews to give you exclusive insights.
Analysis, back-tests, and commentary to help you know when to follow or oppose pundits and friendly advisors.
Sector, index, mo-pay, all-star, bad boy, hero and more dog tricks to sit-up and get your attention.
Premium research to distinguish ill-treated dog stocks from really sick ones generally leading to my dog of the week recommendations.
